DEV8X

DEV8X

The DEV8X systems are based on micropercussion marking technology and are extremely versatile and robust both in bench configuration and with a portable support, as well as integrated into production lines, even in particularly harsh environments thanks to the use of a rubber protective bellows.

Each marker consists of a marking head that can be provided with different punches depending on the type of surface to be marked, a touchscreen control unit on which to enter the marking data and start the cycle and the cable that connects the control unit to the marking head which can be of configurable lengths depending on the application.

The markers can be supplied with a single-acting pneumatic punch, extremely fast and suitable for flat surfaces, or a double-acting one, with a stylus stroke up to 15 mm therefore suitable for marking curved or irregular surfaces.

In these systems it is possible to customize the font and set the automatic marking of all data coming from counters and variable strings selectable from external I/O or serial. It is also possible to connect the marker to barcode readers for easy data input. The DEV8X also allows the marking of two-dimensional Data Matrix codes.

These marking systems can be equipped with the MarkWizard management software.
Easily installable on any PC connected to the markers via RS-232 serial port or USB port, MarkWizard is able to simplify and speed up the management of codes, texts, brands or company logos. Thanks to the intuitive graphical interface, it also allows to carry out quickly and accurately all operations of content definition, archiving of marking files and creation of a complete system backup.
